1. Tasks:
Regular tasks
Lead the Calibration control team
Define and manage the VD calibrations activities
Validation activity in Model In The Loop and Drive in the Loop environment
Validation activity in Vehicle environment
Review and maintenance of the calibration procedures
Abroad business trips to Proving grounds
Occasional tasks
Matlab/ Excel tools creation for simulation or analysis
Create MatLab Simulink model/rapid proto to develop vehicle features
Abroad business trips to Suppliers
Follow System engineer department into function
2. Responsibilities:
Provide a validated software for all VD controls from objective point of view through calibration procedures within the deadline
Provide an agreed software for all VD controls from subjective point of view through QP documents within the deadline
Follow Test driver complains done/described in QP documents
Solve durability issues raised up during normal development
Develop VD application software (MIL, SIL, HIL, Vehicle) through also rapid proto software
Calibrate the VD controls (MIL, SIL, HIL, Vehicle)
Develop new solutions in both phases, protype and production, in order to improve the vehicle performance
Propose and test new control prototypes (SIMULINK, demo car)
Collaborate with the rest of the team to identify the optimal solution in term of technologies, logics and usability of the controls by SW Architecture team
3. Required skills and competencies:
Weekly meeting with Head of Vehicle Dynamics Controls Strategies
Alignment and shared decisions agreement
Coordinate calibration team
