1. Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute tests in an automotive environment on vehicle level​

  • Planning, management and monitoring of prototype vehicle build ​

  • Creation of verification and validation plans​

  • Document and report test results in a structured way using internal tools and processes​

  • See the future needs of any test activities and plan for any workshop upgrades needed in close relationship with test engineers and workshop technicians​

  • Identify new test methods in compliance with vehicle requirements of safety, performance and timing​

  • Optimizing and streamlining any tools or lab equipment used​

  • Building and be actively involved in test vehicle preparation ​

  • Propose design improvements for components​

  • Perform data analysis, correlate data to vehicle requirements and check whether acceptance criteria are met​

  • Support cross-functional root cause analysis, track and document issues discovered during testing activities related to hardware, software or integration failure​

  • Good troubleshooting skills

 

2. Authorities:
Decision-making authorities​

  • Development planning and test definition​

  • Support cascade of test results from vehicle to system level​

Managerial authorities​

  • Lead test team activities and defintion of plans and resources associated to test

 

3. Required skills and competencies:

  • Vehicle test experience 
  • Prototype vehicle build experience 
  • Data logging and Data analysis skill 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
