1. Tasks:
Regular tasks
Lead the Vehicle control team Architecture
Define and manage the timing of the projects
Possibly collaborate and manage suppliers in defining the architecture
Create MatLab Simulink model to describe in details vehicle features
Follow System engineer department into function allocation and decomposition
Follow software implementation department
Validation activity in Model In The Loop environment
Validation activity in Hardware in The Loop environment
Review and maintenance of the models behind each feature
Occasional tasks
Matlab/ Excel tools creation for simulation or analysis
Abroad business trips to Suppliers
Occasional business trips to proving grounds
2. Responsibilities:
Define the interface of several SW component (developed internally or by suppliers)
Define the base logic and the control structure of SW component ( developed internally or by suppliers)
Collaborate to define Safety and Diagnostics logics
Verify and validate the VD controls (MIL, SIL, HIL)
Develop new solutions in both phases, protype and production, in order to improve the vehicle performance
Develop new control prototypes (SIMULINK) whose goal is to be povided as a requirement to external teams
Collaborate with internal and external team in the definition of SW solutions (e.g. memory management, code optimization , etc.)
Collaborate with the rest of the team to identify the optimal solution in term of technologies, logics and usability of the controls by Calibration team
Develop HIL and DIL interfaces
Manage the SW documentation (e.g. FuSa test and similar)
Feature/Functional allocation (e.g. ECU hosting definition and split)
