1. Key Responsibilities:

  • Shading, Lighting and Texturing of surfaces and environments        
  • Compositing and Post-processing of scenes and images        
  • Modelling: creation of 3D assets based on design input        
  • Maintain vehicle master files        
  • Preparation of setups and environments        
  • Effective lighting of 3D assets         
  • Research and develop pipeline solutions and techniques        
  • Is creating a detailed task and ressource plan if required (LEAD)        
  • Manages issues escalation to the next level (LEAD)        
  • Understand creative and technical process and be able to relay creative or technical needs in actionable steps        
  • Close collaboration with other departments using project management skills to manage input and output        
  • Other duties as required        
  • to travel (domestically and internationally) as required  

 

2. Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent in film, tv, digital media, design or similar        
  • English:  Fluent in English - other languages are a plus        
  • 7+ years of work experience in a global automotive context, preferably OEM         
  • Expert knowledge in Maya, Cinema 4D, Corona, Vray and/or VRED,  (or equivalent render engine) and post production software         
  • Experience with Abobe Substance, Unreal, Unity or any real-time engine is a plus        
  • Scripting and automotive experience        
  • Equipped with an advanced sense for layout, colour and composition as well as an eye for details and for  contemporary aesthetics  
  • Good Project Management skills         
  • Receptive to learn new tools and exchange knowledge        
  • Exceptional verbal and visual communication skills         
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced and international studio environment        
  • Able to deliver under tight time constraints      
  • Strong sense of responsibility
