1. Responsibilities and work tasks
- Processing the bill of material (BOM) and all other project input data
- Resolving all issues before launching to production
- Assuring all data needed for production is completed, review project release status
- Assuring all procedures and documentation for the manufacturing process is completed
- Production planning and organizing on project level
- Capacity & layout planning on project level supporting Planning department with inputs
- Estimation of parts quantity based on project demands and the storage condition
- Tracking of production flow and delivery dates
- Ensuring all resources needed for project and coordinating whit project team inside Manufacturing Engineering department
- Ability to define tasks and project timelines and communicate status accurately.
- Responsibility for production deadlines
- Manage changes on project level
- Report and escalate if needed
- Work in ERP system (mBOM importing, make part creation and change managing)
- Communication with engineers, purchasing, quality and internal cross functional departments
- Provide technical support to other teams
- Perform feasibility studies and provide solutions for the new projects
- Perform cost analyses and drive cost reductions on project level
- Drive process, quality and optimization improvements
- Other assignments as assigned by the supervisor
2. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in mechanical engineering or similar field of study
- 5+ years of professional experience in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic production or development
- Experience in CAD software, preferably CATIA V5 or 3DX
- Very good knowledge in MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Great teamwork skills and highly developed communication skills
- Developed sense of responsibility
- Strong organization skills and systematic approach to work
- Ability to define tasks and project timelines and communicate status accurately
3. Considered as an advantage
- Good understanding of manufacturing technologies and experience working with a technical project team
- Experience in project managing and coordinating technical project teams
- Experience in process flow design (VSM)
- Experience in using CAD software (Catia, 3DX)
- Experience in automotive industry
- Experience in lean manufacturing
