Regular tasks
- Logistics costs calculation
- Definition and development of minimal quantities on stock
- Material flow development
- Logistics process for finished goods
- Logistics process for raw material
- Internal logistics process definition and implementation
- Design and definition of packaging (internal, Inbound, outbound)
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production operations
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other teams
- Other duties as assigned
Occasional tasks
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports
- Keep paperwork organized
- VSM and information flow development
- Suppliers preparation for internal logistics needs
Responsibilities
- Ensure maximum performance and minimum delay
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand
- Labor and material handling optimization
- Material waste optimization
- Logistics process development for new products
- Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products
- Fullfill all deliverables described within PCP
