We are looking for engineers who are familiar with the process of developing complex systems from the idea to the finished product. A hands-on approach and a very good understanding of technological processes involved in the development and production of powertrain systems is mandatory.

The ideal candidate has a strong passion for cars, technology and engineering with a background of mechanical and/or electrical engineering education and has worked on additional projects within the industry.


1. Responsibilities: 

  • Ownership of Design Verification and Validation plan for a specific project 
  • Preparation, execution and documentation of testing activities on electric motors and subsystems (stator, rotor, insulation etc.) 
  • Regular reporting on all verification and validation activities 
  • Closely co-working with and Powertrain engineers responsible for motor, gearbox and inverter development
  • Supporting a multidisciplinary team (Manufacturing Department, Assembly team, Purchasing and Logistics departments) 
  • Supporting ongoing product and process improvements 


2. Main tasks: 

  • Development of Electric motor Design Verification and Validation plan (DVP plan) 
  • Organization, planning and managing of in-house testing activities 
  • Organization, planning and managing of external testing activities 
  • Communication with external testing laboratories 
  • Creating detailed test specifications 
  • Creating all relevant technical documentation (manuals, instructions, DUT specifications, etc.) 
  • On-site support and supervision of both in-house and external testing laboratories 
  • Analysis of test results 
  • Creating test reports 
  • Support during DFMEA process 


3. Requirements: 

  • Experience designing and executing test plans to integrate, verify and validate product performance and robustness 
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and successfully work across multiple disciplines such as engineering, software and manufacturing is highly desired 
  • Knowledge of CAD software (preferably Catia or Solidworks) 
  • Good knowledge of electric motors and motor subcomponents 
  • Strongly detail-oriented and self-organized 
  • Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment 
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken) is essential 
  • Bachelor's or higher degree in the relevant field of study  


4. Considered as an advantage: 

  • Experience in the electric motors or automotive verification and validation process 
  • Good knowledge of automotive testing standards 
  • Good knowledge of the electric motor mechanical design, thermal and electromagnetics 
  • Understanding of electro-mechanical components 
  • General knowledge of BEV, HEV and PHEV
