Hypercar Jig and Fixture Designer (m/f)

We are currently looking for a Hypercar Jig and Fixture Designer. The role requires a proactive and methodical Engineer who will work on designing, creating and delivering equipment and tooling for assembly lines.

 

1. Responsibilities and work tasks

  • Develop and validate production jigs and tools

  • Create all technical drawings, CAD, concepts

  • Track the equipment from Design to Production

  • Provide input for equipment procurement

  • Commissioning of the system

  • Identify potential assembly issues and propose solutions with Design

  • Communicate and work with equipment suppliers and internal departments

  • Track and monitor progress of project tooling

  • Make feasibility studies for new projects

 

2. Requirements

  • Advanced Knowledge of CAD software (SolidWorks or Catia)

  • Active use of MS Office, especially MS Excel

  • Advanced English level (written and spoken)

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Bachelor's or higher degree in the relevant field of study

  • 3+ years experience in industry

  • Manufacturing Engineering experience with vehicles

 

3. Considered as an advantage

  • Experience in the equipment, tooling, jigs, fixtures design and production

  • Understanding of quality assurance process, tools and methodologies
