FPGA Design Engineer (m/f)

We are now looking for FPGA Engineers. We are open to receive applications from all candidates with any experience. 

You will be developing an FPGA design. We typically assemble small, cross-functional project teams who take ownership of a specific system and develop it end-to-end. This is a fast-paced environment where you will have to think on your feet and perform well under pressure in order to deliver next-generation technology for the Automotive sector. 

1. Responsibilities: 

• Designing, implementing, integrating, and testing FPGA modules 

• Assistance in digital architecture design 

• Developing control logic modules for various in-vehicle systems and subsystems 

• Developing communication interfaces for various end devices (sensors, actuators, electronic control modules, etc.) 

• Proposing new ideas and problem-solving  

• Communicating and coordinating with people of different technical and non-technical backgrounds and other departments inside the company (e.g. engineers, test drivers, vehicle assembly team, project managers, production technicians, pit crews, etc.)

2. Requirements:

• Strong development skills in VHDL  

• Development skills in C 

• Experience with HDL simulation 

• Ability to read schematics and component datasheets 

• Familiar with state-of-art methods to specify, validate and optimize the design. 

• Experience with version control (git, svn) 

• Experience with communication protocols (CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, etc) 

• Advanced knowledge of English(written and spoken) 

• Experience with troubleshooting/debugging tools as well as lab equipment 

• Experience with Xilinx, Mentor Graphics tools, and Altium Designer for schematic capture and layout
