1. Responsibilities:
- Understand vehicle features and system level requirements to use as the input for the Design & Development of Electrical Architectures
- Design & Development of vehicle System Architectures that are in the scope of Electrical Architecture (EA) department
- Collaborate within the EA department and other design areas in creation and definition of functional allocation matrix and vehicle features
- Collaborate with concept team for analysis and benchmark of E/E architecture concepts for current and future projects
- Collaborate in design of SYS.2 System Level Requirements definition for EA domain features
- Create SYS.3 Component Level Requirements (Interface definition) for EA domain features
- Lead or Support product development stages with suppliers for certain products within the Electrical Architecture design area scope
- Support Vehicle Networks & Diagnostics team for integration of E/E components
- Support discussions with various suppliers for EA domain relevant products
- Support various Cross-functional teams in understanding the impact of their systems and related decisions on Electrical Architecture designs
- Conduct architectural and system analysis studies and perform E/E simulations
- Create and maintain general electrical documentation, requirements, test-case definition, DVP, …
2. Requirements:
- Bachelor or higher degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable discipline
- 3+ years of working experience in automotive system architectural design
- High understanding of automotive system concept design and system engineering
- Strong E/E Architectural, Hardware Schematic and layout design comprehension
- Strong knowledge of handling all types of electrical signals and automotive communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, MOST, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet …)
- Good understanding of different automotive domain areas (Powertrain, Vehicle Dynamics, Chassis, Body) features and functions development
- Familiarity with system and software integration of the E/E components in the vehicle
- Creative problem solver
- High analytical approach to work
- Very good knowledge of English language (written and spoken)
3. Considered as a plus:
- Previous experience in automotive industry, especially in hybrid and fully electric vehicles with focus on Electrical Architecture design area
- Support DFMEA, FMEA, TARA and HARA activities for Electrical Architecture relevant topics
- Familiarity with ISO26262, ISO/SAE 21434, LV124, LV123
- Good understanding of product development stages
- Good understanding of ASPICE V-model
- Working with suppliers to design the new product of interest within EA scope
- Good understanding of modelling methods and tools: CANalyzer, Matlab / Simulink, PREEVISION or similar Requirements tracking tool / Jama, Doors, …
- Software development background
- Experienced knowledge in vehicle development standards & processing
