1. Tasks:
Regular tasks
Systems (Aerodynamics, Chassis, Hybrid/EV Powertrain) requirements and architecture definition (including Diagnostics) starting from the Vehicle Features and the Stakeholder requirements
Support Leads of Control Strategies in Vehicle Features definition
Breaking down high-level features into systems and components level requirements
System integration and testing activity in Model In the Loop (MiL), Hardware In the Loop (HiL) and Driver In the Loop (DiL) environments
Close cooperation with suppliers in terms of system architecture and component design, integration and testing
Support the Electrical and Network engineering team with the functional and diagnostic specification of the in-vehicle communication networks and hardwired connection during the vehicle development cycle
Support Software team in the SW requirements implementation and testing
Occasional tasks
Matlab/ Excel tools creation for simulation or analysis
Abroad business trips to Suppliers or Proving grounds
2. Responsibilities:
Documenting distributed systems and sub-systems functional requirements and architecture using appropriate tools.
Updating and maintaining the requirements traceability through the several phases of the systems development.
Provide continuous support to Functional Safety and Cyber Security Teams.
Collaborate with the rest of the Vehicle Controls team to identify the optimal solution in term of technologies, logics and usability of the controls by Calibration team
Weekly meetings with Control System Integration Team Lead
Alignment and shared decisions agreement
Liaise with Tier 1 suppliers for SW and HW of Control Systems/Components and academic research partners
