Compliance Officer
About your new role:
We are searching for an enthusiastic Compliance professional to join us in our Zagreb. Our mission is to become one of the leading hypercar manufacturers and you as a Compliance Officer will help us to achieve this by ensuring our business operations and procedures comply with compliance and legal regulations. Moreover, you will be advising and training team members from all departments on all compliance aspects that Bugatti Rimac d.o.o. has to deal with. The Compliance Officer is part of our CFO department.
1. In your new role you will:
- Monitor company's compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies
- Plan, design and implement company’s compliance program
- Communicate with employees and contractors to ensure everyone is aware of what they need to do to comply with internal and external laws and regulations
- Establish, periodically review and improve internal compliance policies and procedures including KYC, whistle blowing, code of conduct, product safety, etc.
- Identify need for compliance education programs, coordinate and schedule required compliance training for employees across all functions
- Evaluate overall compliance risk factors
- Monitor compliance in line with the internal controls and relevant reporting to the board
- Link policies, standard operating procedures, internal controls, monitoring and reporting with the goal of improving operations and establishing a compliance culture
2. What do you need to be successful?
- Very good understanding of related legal logic and proven record of experience in Compliance contexts
- 2+ years of professional experience as a qualified Compliance professional with experience in audit/ risk management/ compliance functions
- Thorough knowledge of international compliance standards and working understanding of how to roll-out compliance systems
- Professional experience in automotive industry is an advantage
- Management and organization skills
- Demonstrated effectiveness in presentations to senior management
- Proven ability to work in a fast-changing environment and execute with urgency
- Excellent judgement, logical-analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Communicative and self-driven person
- Enthusiasm and drive to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, being able to adapt to changing demands
- Hands on mentality
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
